Stove; bedroom, first floor

Clay; baked, enamelled; 280 x 78 cm, length 79 cm; mid-19th century; inv. no. 1227

Neo-Gothic, white-enamelled stove in the shape of a tower. In the lower part, it has a square cross-section with honeycomb tiles. The upper part of the stove is octagonal. In the corners there are half-round columns with a base and a floral capital. The space between the columns is formed by a row of arched arcades. The crenelation has the appearance of a fort with towers, embrasures and curtain walls. The hearth is on the backyard side.

It is interesting to point out that this stove is an almost completely faithful copy of the stove from the burg of Füssen on the Lech in Germany from 1514.
